Manchester brand Progress JJ has been established since 2012, through the years they have produced some of the best kimonos on the market. Producing basic kimonos such as 'The Foundation', Premium kimonos like the 'Gold Label' and having one of the best standard kimonos on the market with the M6 ! Progress JJ has never produced a kimono marketed and produced to be their lightweight competition kimono, until now that is. Progress JJ has now produced the Movement kimono, developing an extremely lightweight kimono without sacrificing the quality of the kimono.
This kimono is made from 400gsm pearl-cross weave, for extra durability. With ripstop pants the kimono is extremely durable despite being an extremely lightweight kimono.
Progress has introduced a new cut for its Movement kimono, and as such has released a highly detailed size chart to make sure you purchase the size for you. As someone 6ft 2 and 94kg i found the A2L fit comfortably, and with the cut its perfect as a competition kimono.
Being lightweight and well fitted, this kimono is extremely comfortable. Almost weightless being an A2L it weighs 1.3kg, an amazing weight for an A2L kimono.
Taking inspiration from the Manchester nightlife, the Progress Movement combines Progress's known clean style with its Manchester heritage. The kimono is especially Gorgeous with a Vinyl print on the inside and embroided labels on the sleeves and pants. The Movement Label is stitched on and in a light Pink colour. Progress JJ can do no wrong it seems in the style department !
